Point Of View

1) What P.O.V. was the work originally in? 2) Did you have to change anything else other than the pronouns (E.g. verbs) 3) How does the change of P.O.V. also change the story? Original Paragraph I kept quite still and said nothing. For a whole hour I did not move a muscle, And in the meantime I did not hear him lie down. He was still sitting up in the bed listening; --just as I have done, night after night, hearkening to the death watches in the wall. Original Paragraph in 2nd Person You kept quite still and said nothing. For a whole hour you did not move a muscle, And in the meantime you did not hear him lie down. He was still sitting up in the bed listening; --just as you have done, hearkening to the death watches in the wall. 1) The P.O.V. was originally done in 3rd person. 2) No 3) It doesn't sound like the Narrator is telling the story anymore, It sounds like he is talking to a friend.
